The Boarding House is newly built and corresponds to all EU standards. When we built it, we have set a goal to use only the best materials, to set everything up in the best of taste and to insure the comfort of future tourists. The Boarding House is situated on the Gusterita Hill, at a distance of only 2 km from the center of Sibiu (an 8 minute drive).
From the large terrace and the balconies of the rooms you have a spectacular view over the city of Sibiu and over the mountains Cindrel and Fagaras.
Due to its position and because it is surrounded by nature, the Boarding House is an ideal place for those seeking rest and relaxation but also for those who travel for business purposes and wish to set themselves loose from all the stress that consumes them during the day and have a quiet, refreshing evening.
The intimate setting, the hospitality of the personnel, the clean and comfortable rooms are just a few of the reasons for which you should stay even for one night in our Boarding House.
The "Carmen Boarding House" is a family business, managed by a young couple � Carmen and Sabin Bortan � who are always attending to the needs and expectations of their visitors so that everybody enjoys their stay.
On sunny days, the tourists can barbeque or they can have a kettle stew in the gazebo, and spend a wonderful day in the open.
When the weather does not permit you to go out, you can stay inside and play some ping pong, darts, backgammon, cards and rummy � we will provide you with everything necessary for all these games.
The Boarding House has 28 places of accommodation in 10 double rooms, 1 room with 4 beds, 1 studio (1 kitchen, 2 twin beds, and 1 expanding sofa for two). |
